Καινή Διαθήκη Ελληνική - Gamma Kappa

οὐ μὴ

Primary words for ‘not’. οὐ is used in the indicative mode μὴ is used in the dependent (non-indicative) modes, e.g Subjunctive, Optative, Imperative, et al.

Unlike English, double negatives in Greek do not cancel each other, but rather intensify the negation. The more negatives, the more emphatic the negation.

Hence Hebrews 13.5:

I will No Not leave you, Nor No Not Never forsake you!

Examples: Hebrews 13.5
